February 13th, 2013
SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (WGGB) — A 77-year-old elderly man has died after being struck by a snowplowing truck in his driveway Saturday evening.
The announcement comes from the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office.
Roland Chartier of South Hadley was in his driveway on Broad Street Saturday evening at about 6:00 after the blizzard when he was hit by a private plow truck.
No word on exactly how the incident occurred, but Spokesperson Mary Carey told ABC40 News, “No foul play is suspected.”
The South Hadley Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section is actively investigating this.

This story is borderline incoherent. Did he run himself over with his own truck?
