HOLYOKE, Mass. (WGGB) — A Northampton man is under arrest after allegedly holding up a Holyoke Dunkin’ Donuts.
Holyoke Police Lt. Matt Moriarty says that just after 5:30 a.m. Friday, police were called to the store on Northampton Street for a report of a robbery in progress.
By the time officers arrived, the suspect had already taken off. However, detectives were able to find someone matching the suspect’s description a short time later on Shawmut Street.
That man, identified by police as 41-year-old George Radosavljevic, was identified by witnesses and placed under arrest.
Radosavljevic is being charged with one count of armed robbery and two counts of armed assault to rob. He is set to be arraigned Friday in Holyoke District Court.
