Mild Temperatures Delight Western Mass.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB)– Today’s bright sun and mild temperatures had many folks clearing out some of last weeks snow, including Fred Baymond who owns Standard Printing Service who was making sure his drains were clear and curb shoveled so that people could easily get in and out of his shop.

And others like Thomas Williams and Richard Moor were just happy to take a walk while they could.

“You don’t know what to expect these days, I mean as far as the weather goes. Now tomorrow it might be 90 degrees and sunny, it could be raining, you gotta take the bad with the good, but this is good today,” said Moore.

After all the snow, shoveling and terrible weather conditions it seems we were due for a beautiful day, but as we all know living in New England, one day can be gorgeous, and the next can be a mess.

“We figured we’d stroll to the store, enjoy the weather while we can. I just know next week, it might be snowing again,” added Williams.
