Two Injured in Liberty St. Crash

liberty st axSPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Two people are taken to the hospital after their vehicle was rear-ended in Springfield.

It happened around 2:30 Sunday morning near the intersection of Liberty and Hartley streets.

Police say one car crashed into the back of another, pushing that vehicle onto its side. Two people inside that vehicle were injured and taken to Baystate Medical Center.

Police are still investigating what caused the crash.
