LANESBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — Developers hope to build a $1.5 million nature-based adventure park in the Berkshire Mountains.
The Berkshire Eagle reports that Paolo Cugnasca, chief executive of Feronia Forests, purchased 1,500 acres on Brodie Mountain in 2007. It would be the site of an aerial adventure park in tree canopies and is being designed by Tree-Mendous, an adventure park design and construction company in East Chatham, N.Y.
Gerhard Komena, co-owner of Tree-Mendous, said components will be installed using clamps that will leave the trees unharmed. No nails, spikes or drill bits will dig into the trees. Cables will be cushioned to keep the tree from growing over them.
He calls it a tree-only attraction.
The park would include a canopy network of zip lines and tree forts and a maple sugar harvesting operation.

sounds awesome
Sounds exactly like adirondack extreme in Bolton Landing , New York. In the Lake George area. It is a 5 hour adventure.
My husband and I went zip lining for the first time last year for our vacation…went to Zoar Outdoors and had an amazing zip tour…I look forward to more companies setting up zip tours to try!!
