Best Buy to Launch New Price-Match Policy
February 18th, 2013
(CNN) — Best Buy is launching a new price-matching guarantee.
Beginning March 3rd, Best Buy will match prices at all local retailers and nearly 20 major online competitors.
The chain wants to end so-called “showrooming.”
That’s when a customer goes into the store to check out the products, then buy it online for a cheaper price.
Best Buy has struggled recently, as discount and online retailers like Amazon lure away customers.

I’m glad that Best Buy is dying. When they came to the Holyoke Mall, they put a lot of small record stores out of buisness.
who cares about record stores. who buys cd’s or records any more. everything is digital now and it would have happened with or with out best buy.
Big box companies hurt the middle class rather than help in the long run.
It’s about time, they needed to do this to survive.
