BOSTON (AP) — Former U.S. Sen. Scott Brown is thinking about running for governor of Massachusetts.
The Republican told WFXT-TV he’s going to “keep all options open” about his political future.
Brown said the best thing he can do for himself and for his peace of mind now “is just to hang tight and recharge and be active.”
Brown was defeated last year by Democratic U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
Brown also suggested that his decision to not run again in the upcoming special Senate election had to with the prospect of having to defend the seat again next year if he won.
Fox News Channel recently hired Brown as a contributor.
Brown says he’s hoping to use the opportunity to challenge elected officials to put the country’s needs ahead of partisan interests.

Him being on Fox News has sealed the deal for me! Do NOT want to see him run for anything anymore!
Would love it!!! He’d be far better than the Obama mini me we have now
I agree completely with you Alison!

I agree with you Alison
Ide vote for him in a heart beat! I was hoping thats why he didnt go for the senate seat
D.B.
I just want him to explain how to pocket Tweet someone on an IPhone. Just because you are a politician doesn’t mean you always have to lie. He should just admit he was drunk and got upset and responded when he should have gone to bed.
