SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Several people gathered at Springfield’s Tower Square Thursday for a fashion show in honor of Black History Month.

The show, called “Reinventions” is a collaboration among local designers and models to showcase the diversity available locally.

Today’s featured store is right in Tower Square, “Something to Talk About”.

Owner and designer Diane Evans says its a great opportunity for the community and designers as well. “Today, we have Cart DC. He’s a men’s designer, and we also have Justin. He’s also a men’s designer, so it gives other designers an opportunity to display their work here at my fashion show,” she says.

Models walked the catwalk, displaying the latest fashion designs.

It’s the sixth year for this fashion show honoring Black History Month.
