Body Recovered from Conn. River Near South End Bridge

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) –Family members say the body found Friday afternoon along the Connecticut River is that of 33 year old Shawn Dunson.
He was located near the South End Bridge after going missing back on February 3rd.
Dennis Leger, executive aide to Springfield’s fire commissioner, says that a little after 3:00 p.m. Friday, a caller reported seeing a body about 600 yards from the banks of the river, south of the South End Bridge.
A rescue boat was able to go and retrieve the body of what Leger said at the time was a middle-aged man.
Sadly might be the male that has been missing
It’s probably the Jackass that jumped off the bridge during the blizzard after robbing somebody in West Springfield

Everytime I drive that bridge, I’m paranoid I’ll see a body floating in the water. So sad to meet your end in that way.

It is one of the two! Now last night the story of the missing gentleman from Super Bowl was posted. Being completely serious I said “maybe he jumped off the bridge” and I got accused that I am racist! And now this comes up. Ugh people are so ignorant. May who ever it is rest peacefully
I drove by there around 3:05 today and no one was there lol. I come back up from Enfield and traffic jam lol
