WATERTOWN, CT (WGGB) — Police in Watertown Connecticut have found a 17-year-old girl they believe may have been kidnapped and taken to Massachusetts.
They say she is safe, but did not provide other details on how she was found. She had gone out for a walk and shortly thereafter her Aunt received a text from her asking for help.
Nelly then stated that a white male and a female, unknown to her, had taken her into a vehicle.
Police say that several other text messages were received from Nelly’s phone that stated that they were not from Nelly but from an unknown individual who claimed to have her.
Her family believes that Nelly may have been transported to Massachusetts. Police say possibly the Worcester area.
