SOUTH DEERFIELD, Mass (WGGB)- Today was the last day of February vacation. Not everyone was able to escape the cold this week, but little did we know, a tropical paradise is in our own backyard.
Yankee Candle in Deerfield had many special tropical- themed activities throughout the week for kids.
Even Santa is vacationing here! Mr. and Mrs. Clause spent time doing crafts with children. Balloon animals, candle dipping, and wax sculpting were also popular activities today.
Another main attraction was the magic show. Free admission allowed for dozens of children and their families to watch.
If you haven’t had the chance to go to Yankee Candle this week…you’re not too late! Special activities will continue throughout the weekend. Kids wearing a tropical shirt have a chance to win a prize.
