Deerfield, Mass. (WGGB)- Last Friday 4th graders at The Bement Boarding School in Deerfield hosted their 16th annual Colonial Ball. The Kids have been studying The Colonial Period in American History, with specific emphasis on Historical Deerfield.
Their studies ended with a Colonial Ball. The kids got “decked out” in traditional, Colonial dress and took part in traditional ballroom dancing with live fiddle music. At the end of the ball the kids sheared a big feast, consisting of food of The Colonial Period.
