Police-Shooting

BOSTON (AP) — Police say one person is dead and two people are in custody after a shooting at a Boston bus station.

The shooting occurred at about 9:45 p.m. Thursday at the Dudley Square MBTA station.

Police say the 26-year-old victim was shot at the station and stumbled onto a bus. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name was not released.

The two suspects trying to flee on foot were quickly taken into custody by police working a construction detail near the station. Police also recovered two weapons.

Prosecutors say 25-year-old Brian Cooper and 22-year-old Jamel Bannister are scheduled to be arraigned Friday on murder and other charges.
