Chicopee, Mass. (WGGB) – Sunday night, friends and family will gather at Ray Ashe Park in Chicopee for a balloon release in memory of 20-year-old Amanda Plasse.

Plasse was murdered in her Chicopee home on August 26, 2011.

The balloon release is scheduled for 5:15 p.m.

Plasse’s killer has never been caught.

Her case is among a group of unsolved murders that the District Attorney’s office is re-examining.  Advances in technology in the past two years could help detectives in finding new clues in Plasse’s murder.

  1. Releasing balloons is a felony in some places and a danger to wildlife and also considered air pollution, like that guy in Dania Beach, Florida who got nailed five days ago.

  2. Okay well We Are trying to get Justice for A Sweet Innocent Girl Who Was Takin From Us And Family And Us Friends Are Desperate For Answers So Really Your Comment Is Not Needed And Pretty Cold Hearted Thanks Oh And Btw If It Were Not Allowed Here I Think It Would Been Stopped So Proceed
