BRIMFIELD, Mass (WGGB) – Jason Girouard is the winner of this years “Power of the You(th)” Video contest. He is a senior from Brimfield and attends Tantasqua Regional High School.

Teens around the country put together a short video to encourage their peers from drinking.

Girouard’s winning video depicts two friends discussing weekend plans, one suggesting a party with alcohol and the other suggesting they play video games instead.

The Power of You(th) program is all about empowering teens to take a stand against underage drinking. Girouard’s video was selected from thousands of entries submitted by teens from across the country. His video was selected because of it’s creativity, quality and overall underage drinking prevention message.

The video will not run as a national Public Service Announcement.
