Springfield, Mass (WGGB)- Last week students celebrated Dr. Seusses birthday with read alongs. The Lubavitcher Yeshiva Academy in Longmeadow also took part in the tradition.

Pre-schoolers at the school were read to by the “Cat in the hat” and students came to school dressed as Dr. Seuss characters.

Read alongs all across the country will continue this Friday, March 8th. It’s the 15th annual, nation wide read along. High school students from the area will visit elementary schools in their cities and towns to read to the younger kids.
