SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — ABC has announced that Joy Behar will be resigning as co-host from “The View” after this latest season ends.
The television network made the announcement this evening.
ABC’s official statement says, “Joy Behar has been instrumental in the success of “The View” from the very beginning. We wish her all the best in this next chapter, and are thrilled that we have her for the remainder of the season.”
Behar’s last date on “The View” has not yet been announced.
She has been a co-host of the show since it started in 1997.
Currently, “The View” is hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Sherri Shepherd and on a part-time basis, Barbara Walters.
