Chicopee, Mass (WGGB)- Students at St. Stanislaus school in Chicopee tapped a Maple tree yesterday despite the rainy weather. The fourth graders have been participating in studying natural resources and the economy of the northeast. And one of the northeast’s natural resources is maple sugaring so the students concluded their less yesterday with the tapping of the tree. The kids got some help from an expert tree farmer.
