Putnam Brings Home Division I Basketball Championship

WORCESTER, Mass. (WGGB) — State basketball championships took place Saturday at the DCU Center and Western Mass was well represented as South Hadley, Smith Academy and Putnam participate in division finals. South Hadley and Smith Academy fell to competition but Putnam kept the division I crown in Western Mass as they beat #1 ranked Mansfield 50-48 in overtime.
