Police: Thief Takes Cash Register from Boston Road Gas Station
March 20th, 2013
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Springfield Police are investigating a Tuesday night robbery at the Mobil gas station at 1828 Boston Road.
They say a man with a knife entered the business and made off with a cash register drawer.
He’s described as a white male standing at 5’9″, wearing a gray and red striped sweatshirt.
Police say they have no reason to believe that this robbery is connected to a robbery that occurred at an accounting firm on Parker Street about 30 minutes prior.
If you have any information on either robbery, you’re urged to call the Springfield Police Department at 787-6355.

Um…what gas station?
Mobil gas station at 1828 Boston Road
In the old days, cash registers were too heavy to carry away.
He’s supposed to have one of those big cloth bags with the “$” on it.
If this is the same guy that stole $20 from an accounting firm, he sounds like a real piece of work.
Crazy…
