ABC40 Honor Roll – Kids Take Part In “Kick Butts Day”

SPRINGFIELD, Mass (WGGB) – Yesterday, kids nationwide took a stand against tobacco for the 18th annual “kick butts” day. It’s when young people encourage their peers to stay tobacco-free and educate their communities about the dangers of tobacco.

More than 200 kids across the state made their way to the state house to urge lawmakers to support policies that keep tobacco away from children. Students from across western Mass including South Hadley High School students took part in the event.
