Seth Machak Remembered at Houle’s with Bacon

photo (8)SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (wggb)– Friends and family of Seth Machak gathered at Houle Family Restaurant in South Hadley today. The first 25 people to mention Seth’s name at the restaurant received a single order of bacon per table courtesy of the Machak family. For Seth’s family it was their “Act of Sethness” to honor the one month anniversary since Seth’s passing, bacon was one of his favorite foods.

Seth Machak, 29, passed suddenly in February after a battle with pneumonia and a deadly infection. Before his passing friends and family started performing “Acts of Sethness”, random acts of kindness in honor of Seth. Each day those “Acts of Sethness” were read to Seth and gave him comfort. Since his passing “Acts of Sethness” have continued. “Acts of Sethness” have included, pounds of bacon flavored dog food delivered to the animal shelter, a teacher giving books to her class, and some buying coffee for strangers.
