Man Rushed to Hospital after Springfield Shooting

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — A man is rushed to the hospital after an early-morning shooting in Springfield.
It happened at 1:40 a.m. Saturday at Stearns Square near Dwight and Worthington streets.
Springfield police tell ABC40 the victim was shot multiple times.
They say he’s now in stable condition.
Officers arrested three suspects following the shooting.
They say the men were driving a black Cadillac. Police recovered a gun, as well as marijuana and crystal meth from inside the vehicle.
The Springfield Detective Bureau is still investigating what prompted the shooting, but police believe it was not random.
not one day or night someone has to get shoot….when will it ever end can we go back to normal….
Those are the guns the government needs to ban. Increase the sentences instead of 18 months mandatory it should be 5 years mandatory for the weapon and 1 year mandatory per bullet. They can’t run concurrent!!!!! And all this bull**** of gun violence will stop.

They will.be back on the streets by Tuesday because these so called people have ” rights ” They took the victim rights away when they shot him. Springfield has become the wild west.
The problem is!!!!!!they will be back on the lovely streets of Springfield before you can blink . The legal system must be changed!!

This is exactly why I left the area and moved 30 hours away! My son will NOT grow up in a dirty, drug infested, lazy area. A better life is out there and Massachusetts is never going to compete with it. Low lives and drug addicts are the citizens of Springfield …….. it will only get worse
Along with a lengthy prison sentence, we can also cut their fingers and thumbs off and yell at them “NO MORE WEAPON HOLDING FOR YOU!!!!!!!!” Just a thought
