SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — A celebration was held downtown Monday at the new La Quinta hotel.
Representatives from Congressman Richard Neal’s office joined Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno at the newly renovated La Quinta Inn and Suites on Congress Street, at the site of the old Holiday Inn.
The ribbon cutting signaled the grand re-opening of the hotel and the conclusion to a three-year plan to revamp the site, and a celebration of revitalizing Springfield as a whole.
“Springfield was an important part for us to be a part of, to connect with the community because this is the heartbeat of our reservations as well, through our Thing 5 partnership, right here in Springfield,” says Jeffrey Palla, Senior Vice President of Franchise Operations for La Quinta.
This hotel was honored as the number one best renovated hotel across all of La Quinta’s properties.
