SPRINGFIELD, Mass (WGGB) On Wednesday a group of Springfield fifth graders got a real life lesson that you don’t usually find in the classroom. There was a shake-up at the Springfield YMCA and two fifth graders took over as the boss.
When Springfield schools held an essay contes about what it’s like to be in charge the two winners were made CEOs for the day. Christian Santiago and Jazmin Ortiz were given the top title.
The contests helps student learn about the responsibility of being the boss and preps them to achieve more as they continue their education.
