SPRINGFIELD, Mass (WGGB) – Students at St. Michael’s Academy celebrated Holy Week on Thursday. Eight grade students reenacted the stations of the cross. It tells the story of the passion and death of Jesus Christ. It’s a long standing tradition students have been taking part in.
On Thursday the kids put on two performances at Holy Cross church in Springfield. The stations of the cross are a ceremonial way for the Catholic Church to walk with Jesus on the way to the crucifixion.
