Holyoke Egg Hunt Makes Kids ‘Hoppy’.

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WGGB) — One group of residents found a way to make easter special for the area children.

Every year this housing complex in Holyoke is filled with kids for their Easter egg hunt.

This is the seventh year the event was held.

More than three-thousand eggs were hidden with candy and other treats… and organizer Kendra Garren said today’s mild weather certainly helps.

“I hope it holds up because I put a lot of work into this — and we have a surprise. We have a new bunny this year coming out to take pictures with the kids.”

The hunt is split up by age group for the young children… and they say more than 50 children joined the event this year.
