Middle School Students Make Video Asking UMass Students to Behave

UMASS KIDS

AMHERST, Mass. (WGGB) — Neighbors aren’t the only ones who hope things stay under control this weekend in Amherst.

A group of students from Amherst Regional Middle School made a video, asking UMass students to behave.  They say college students may be surprised to hear how their partying can affect others.

“The partying at night effects me a lot and all of us in our group and the noise and the trash is a big problem at night people are waking up and yelling and swearing screaming,” says 7th grader Declan Gray.

“What they are doing effects young kids and in some cases, kids scared by what they are seeing and they don’t know how to process it,” says teacher, Jennifer Welborn.
