WANTED: Eduardo RosadoSPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — Springfield Police say 33-year-old Eduardo Rosado is no stranger to the police department. After what police say happened last week, they’re desperate to lock him up for a very long time.
“During the week of April 2nd, four times he sexually assaulted a 12 -year-old minor, forcefully,” says Springfield Police Sgt. John Delaney.
Police say Rosado used to date the victim’s mother, and had spent last week with their family.
After several days of abuse, the victim’s aunt found out what was happening inside the home and took the young girl straight to police.
Officers promptly issued a warrant for Rosado’s arrest.
They say he used to live on Dwight Street in Springfield’s north end, but when they went looking for him, Rosado was nowhere to be found.
“He is from Springfield, he also has addresses in Holyoke — several different addresses in Holyoke — so he could be anywhere in Western Massachusetts,” says Delaney.
Police say the victim is recovering with family.
