Free Legal Advice for Western Mass. Residents
April 12th, 2013
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — The Massachusetts Bar Association is offering Western Massachusetts residents free legal advice on Tuesday, May 21 through their Dial-A-Lawyer call-in program.
Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire and Berkshire county residents can call from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Volunteer lawyers from the MBA will field phone calls and offer legal advice at no charge on May 21.
“People can call and ask a question with no strings attached,” says longtime volunteer Michael Siddall of Siddall & Siddall PC in Springfield. “I’ve come to realize people really do rely on the program as a way to answer some lingering questions or to get a second opinion.”
The Dial-A-Lawyer phone number is 413-782-1659. If a caller gets a busy signal, they are asked to hang up and try again. Normal telephone charges will apply.
