Bruins Game Against Senators Postponed due to Explosions

Bruins Nice picBoston (WGGB) – The NHL has officially postponed Monday night’s game between the Boston Bruins and the Ottawa Senators, in the wake of two explosions at the Boston Marathon, earlier Monday.

At least 2 people have been confirmed dead, and at least 23 are injured, after two explosions near the finish line of the Boston Marathon.

At this point, no make-up date has been announced for the game.  The remaining schedules for each team show two dates (April 24th, April 26th) as mutual off days for the two teams.

Earlier in the day, prior to the explosions, the Red Sox beat the Tampa Bay Rays, 3-2, on a walk-off RBI double by Mike Napoli.
