Investigators Seek Information from Public to Solve Boston Explosions
BOSTON, Mass. (WGGB) — Local and federal law enforcement agencies are looking for the public’s help with information that might help them determine who is responsible for Monday’s explosions.
As part of the joint investigation, Boston Police and the FBI are looking for any photos, videos, or details that may lead them to the suspect or suspects behind Monday’s bombs.
“The situation remains fluid and it remains too early to establish the cause and motivation,” the FBI says in a statement released Monday night.
The FBI adds that, “No piece of information or detail is too small.”
The FBI has set up a special prompt on their tipline solely for information related to the Boston explosions.
The number to the FBI is (800) CALL-FBI (225-5324) and hit prompt #3.
Digital files (photos, audio, video) can be emailed to Boston@IC.FBI.Gov
In addition, those with information can contact the Boston Police CrimeStoppers Tipline at (800) 494-TIPS (8477). If that number is busy, callers may also dial (617) 223-6610 or (617) 223-6612.
