BOSTON (AP) — Several sponsors of the Boston Marathon are raising funds to help people affected by the two explosions at the race.
Adidas is selling a limited edition T-shirt online with all proceeds going to The One Fund Boston established to help those harmed by the bombings on Monday that killed three people and injured more than 170. Each blue-and-yellow “boston stands as one” T-shirt sells for $26.20.
The Boston Beer Co. also sponsors the marathon and is donating contributions to another foundation. The maker of Samuel Adams products is giving all proceeds from the sale of a special beer brewed for the marathon as well as donations from visitors who tour its brewery.
John Hancock Financial Company is the race’s primary sponsor and has donated $1 million to The One Fund.
