BOSTON (WGGB) — The SUV that was carjacked overnight and became has been towed away by law enforcement.
ABC’s Brian Ross reports that the suspects hijacked a Mercedes SUV at a gas station on Memorial Drive in Cambridge.
The two brothers let the driver of the SUV out safely, then took off.
Police, Ross adds, then received a call of a stolen car and police were then able to connect it to the robbery of the 7-Eleven.
A police officer spotted the car, and when trying to pull it over, it then led to a chase, which ended about another seven to eight miles later in Watertown.
For a time Friday morning, police were looking for a gray Honda CRV that may have been related. A short time after the alert to be on the lookout was sent, the car was located near Boston.
