Suspect Manhunt Forces Postponement of Sox, Bruins, Circus

Police activity on Norfolk Street, Cambridge

BOSTON, Mass. (WGGB) – The search for one of the suspects from Monday’s bombing at the Boston Marathon has forced several events in the city to be postponed.

The Red Sox announced Friday afternoon via Twitter that the postponement that their Friday game against the Kansas City Royals was postponed “to support efforts of law enforcement officers.”

Boston Police also announced thatthat the Bruins game Friday night at the TD Garden against the Pittsburgh Penquins and the Big Apple Circus at City Hall Plaza were also called off.

No information was immediately available on a make-up day or time for either game.
