Local Businesses Raise Money through T-Shirt for One Fund Boston

BOSTON STRONG

EASTHAMPTON, Mass (WGGB) — Two Easthampton businesses are teaming up tonight to help our neighbors in Boston.

Mary Ann’s Dance and More, along with Mantis Graphics, are making and selling t-shirts benefiting those affected by the Boston Marathon Bombings.

The shirts show the Boston skyline fading into a yellow ribbon with the words: ‘Boston Strong’ and the date of the tragedy: 4-15-13.

“We are very community oriented,” said Mary Ann Hamlon, owner of Mary Ann’s Dance and More. “Without the community we wouldn’t be here. And even though we’re in Western Massachusetts it’s still Massachusetts. It’s in our back yard.”

The t-shirts are $21.00 a piece and all the proceeds will go directly to ‘The One Fund Boston’.

They’ll be available in about two weeks, but you can pre-order them now at Mary Ann’s Dance and More in Easthampton or online.
