(WGGB) — A dancer, who was badly injured during last week’s marathon bombings, has been invited to the ABC hit show, “Dancing with the Stars.”
Speaking about 32-year-old Adrianne Haslet-Davis during Tuesday night’s results show, show co-host and Mass. native Tom Bergeron noted those at show “were all very moved by her inspirational outlook” and the nation will be introduced to her next week.
Haslet-Davis told The Boston Herald Monday that she and her husband were in front of The Forum restaurant on Boylston Street when the second bomb went off last Monday.
Haslet-Davis, who taught at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Boston, was taken to Boston Medical Center where doctors were forced to amputate part of her left leg, below her knee.
Bergeron added that the show will also discuss how the show “hopes to be part of her recovery.”
You can watch “Dancing with the Stars” Monday and Tuesday nights on ABC40.
