FBI Visits Boston Bomber Widow’s Home
NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (CNN) — FBI agents Monday visited the Rhode Island family home of Katharine Russell.
Russell is the widow of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
Agents, along with Russell’s attorneys, were seen entering the home in North Kingstown, R.I. Monday morning.
Authorities are trying to determine what the 24-year-old knew about the deadly plot, allegedly masterminded by her husband.
Russell’s attorney tells CNN that she did not know anything about it.
Her family says she last saw her husband hours before he died in a gun battle with police. Her attorney says in a statement that she is “doing everything she can to assist with the investigation.”
