Mass. Native Battles It Out for Top 3 on American Idol

american idolBEVERLY, Mass. (WGGB) — Massachusetts native Angie Miller sang her heart out on American Idol tonight, trying to make her way to the top three.

Tonight the final four girls had to choose songs from 2013 for their first round.

Angie’s sang “Diamond’s” by Rhianna but the judges all said they didn’t like the way she slowed down the song, and felt the performance was too bland.

For the second round the girls had to sing classics and Angie chose “Someone to Watch Over Me.”

Angie Miller who’s from Beverly sang during the show, “would you tell him…someone to watch over me.”

The judges applauded her vocal and said this performance was much better than the first.

But will it be good enough to get Angie into the top three?
