WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — The uncle of a Boston Marathon bombing suspect killed in a gun battle with police has arrived in Massachusetts to arrange for his burial.

Ruslan Tsarni, of Montgomery Village, Md., arrived at a Worcester funeral home Sunday and met with funeral director Peter Stefan. Stefan says three men who accompanied Tsarni plan to wash and perform Muslim burial rites on the body of Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

Stefan says he still hasn’t found a cemetery that is willing to bury Tsarnaev. He says he plans to ask the city of Cambridge, where Tsarnaev lived, to provide a burial plot. If Cambridge turns him down, he plans to seek help from state officials.

Tsarni has denounced the acts Tamerlan and his brother, Dzhokhar, are accused of committing.

His spirit is long gone. All that is left is about $38.00 worth of chemical and minerals. Funerals aren’t for the dead they’re for the living. No where has it been written that the tax payers will absorb the cost. In Massachusetts if you claim the body you claim the costs. His family, whether we agree with them or not, has a right to their religion and its ways.
I was AT the marathon when the bombs blew. I saw the carnage. I’m still having nightmares. But if I can forgive, and God can forgive, the family should be allowed this last request.
