HOLYOKE, Mass. (WGGB) — A lengthy investigation has led to the arrest of five people, allegedly involved in possessing and selling drugs.
Holyoke Police Lt. Matt Moriarty says that Friday night, members of the department’s Narcotics division, along with the FBI Western Mass. Gang Task Force, and the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force executed a search warrant on 186 Suffolk Street.
During the search, five people were placed under arrest including 37-year-old Joel Rojas, 29-year-old Johan Colon, 26-year-old Yashira Rivera, 42-year-old Angel Rojas, and 26-year-old Samara Vazquez.
The five are all facing several drug-related charges.
Items seized during the search included drug packaging material, digital scales, an electronic surveillance equipment, crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana, and over $8,000 in cash.
