LUNENBURG, Mass. (CNN) — A horse in Worcester County had to be rescued after becoming stuck in the mud.
Crews in Lunenburg rescued a horse named Tequila on Tuesday.
Tequila ran away from her home and ended up chest-deep in mud.
The fire department came to the rescue and several citizens also had to help.
The rescue efforts lasted a couple of hours, but they eventually extracted the horse, by placing platforms underneath.
Tequila is said to be doing fine.
