Money-Powerball

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — While there was no jackpot winner in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing, two tickets sold in Mass. hit a $1 million prize, and one of those tickets was sold in western Massachusetts.

Mass. Lottery spokesperson Beth Bresnahan says that a $1 million ticket was sold at the A-Mart on North Street in Pittsfield.

The store also receives a $10,000 commission for selling the ticket.

Bresnahan adds that the other $1 million ticket sold at a store in Andover.

With no big winner Wednesday, the Powerball jackpot soars to an estimated $475 million, making it the second largest Powerball jackpot in history.

The numbers drawn on Wednesday were: 2 – 11 – 26 – 34 – 41, Powerball: 32

The next Powerball drawing will be Saturday night.
