Police Respond to Multiple Shots Fired in Springfield

POLICE-SHOOTING4SPRINGFIELD (WGGB) – Two Springfield neighborhoods heard gunshots last night, resulting in two separate arrests.

Just before midnight Friday, police responded to High Street in Springfield after they were alerted to the gunfire by the Shot Spotter program.

Joseph Taschereau, of Waterbury, CT., was arrested on multiple firearms charges, including possession of a firearm without a permit, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building.

Two hours later, police responded to another shots fired complaint, this time on Hampden Street.

When they arrived on scene, police saw a car speeding across a parking lot at the location. One officer had to jump out of the way to avoid being struck.

28-year-old Darrel Gibbons of Springfield was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and operating under the influence.

If Obama gets his way only the police and these type of people will have guns. That translates in uncontrollable home invasions and robberies. We can only hope BHO’s term ends quickly.

So I guess that means that only rich white kids are rapists and shoot up schools right? Since being on welfare and not having money means you’re more likely to do this, then having more money means you’ll like shoot up a whole school or movie theater ? Right. I was raised poor and my brothers or dad never shot or robbed anyone they have clean records and now that I am raising my family with a good paying job, should I be worried about my son shooting his school up? Your logic is stupid. Shut up.
