Demolition Begins on Monson Town Hall and Police Dept. Two Years After Tornado

MONSON, Mass. (WGGB) — Crews began dismantling the former Monson town hall and police station Friday, both destroyed in the tornado.

Crews were able to knock down this section of the building before having to call it quits for the day.

The rest of the building will come down on Monday, once the construction company brings in heavier equipment and more trucks.
