LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WGGB) — Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a person suspected of breaking into a car and stealing a credit card.

Longmeadow Police Capt. John Stankiewicz says that on June 4, a car parked in a driveway was broken into on Farmington Avenue.

Cash and a credit card were stolen during the break-in.

Stankiewicz adds that sometime after 11:45 p.m. that night, the stolen credit card was used to buy gas at a Sunoco station on East Columbus Avenue in Springfield.

Longmeadow Police have now released this surveillance picture of the suspect, with hopes that someone may recognize the man.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to speak a detective at Longmeadow Police by calling (413) 565-3311.
