Latest Washout Totals

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) rainWestern and central Massachusetts experienced a rather wet episode over the past 24 hours. Many locations picked up anywhere between 1.5 to 3 inches of precipitations, making this June the wettest month of the year so far and wetter than the climatological normal for June.  So far this month we’ve seen over 7″ of rainfall. The Tauton National Weather Service station has posted its precipitation totals from our latest bout of wet weather.

Springfield                       1.73 in

Granby, CT                      2.40 in

Royalston                        2.95 in

North Adams                  1.31 in

Pittsfield                           1.55 in

East Longmeadow        2.16 in

Westhampton                2.22 in

Alford                               2.50 in
