Two Wilbraham Residents Arrested on Drug Charges
WILBRAHAM, Mass. (WGGB) — Two people are under arrest after police say they were allegedly growing marijuana inside a Wilbraham home.
Wilbraham Police Capt. Timothy Kane says that just after 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, officers from Wilbraham Police, along with members of the Drug Enforcement Agency, served a warrant on a home at 6 Highmoor Drive.
During the search of the home, police allegedly seized several marijuana plants, processed marijuana for sale, cash, grow lamps, as well as what Kane calls “sophisticated venting and filtration systems.”
Kane says police placed 43-year-old Dominic Arillotta of Wilbraham and 42-year-old Allison Santos of Wilbraham under arrest.
Arrillotta is facing charges of possession with intent to distribute a Class D substance (marijuana), possession of a Class D substance over an ounce, and possession of metallic knuckles.
Santos is being charges with possession with intent to distribute a Class D substance (marijuana) and possession of a Class D substance substance over an ounce.
No information is available yet on when the pair will face a judge.
