wilbraham paradeWILBRAHAM, Mass. (wggb) — Wilbraham turns 250 years old this year and the town has been celebrating all year long. Today residents had the chance to enjoy the beautiful summer weather with a parade and picnic in honor of the anniversary.

The parade began at 1 pm and left off from Crane Park at the intersection of Main and Springfield Streets, traveled down Main Street to it’s conclusion at Fountain Park off of Tinkham Road. There, parade-goers had the chance to enjoy a town picnic as well. Food vendors were available for those who didn’t pack a lunch and a concert provided entertainment.

Tonight the Anniversary events will continue with a fireworks display
