AGAWAM, Mass. (WGGB)- A group of students from Agawam High School became CPR certified earlier this month.
The students watched and practiced skills in CPR and the use of an automated defibrillator. These kids also learned how to administer the heimlich maneuver.
After completing a hands on test and a written test, the students recieved a two year certification by the American Heart Association.
All students at Agawam High School are required to take this course in order to graduate.
